Post op’ news

Hello every one and thank you for visiting my blog.

I’ve been fairly quiet lately due to having an operation. All went well and i’m now on bed rest while the operation site heals up. Two weeks down (nearly) and two weeks to go (I hope).

While four weeks in bed may be an ideal time to catch up on various tasks I’m unable to carry them out as I can only sit up for a short while each day. Any longer than 30 minutes a day and I run the risk of the op’ site re-opening and having to start all over again, which simply can not happen!!

While laying down I’ve been as busy as I can be, sending emails that i’ve typed out with one finger from my left hand, being right handed this has taken some time but some aspects of work simply can’t be put off as customers don’t like to wait to long, and nor should they.

Have You Tested Your Zip Files?

Hi, today I thought I’d let you know about a mistake that I made, in the hope that it saves you making the same one.

I’ve recently had to change my PC and needed WinZip on the new one. So I downloaded the evaluation version, which lasts for 45 days, I thought it was fantastic, as I do with anything that’s free.

I zipped a few files up and loaded them onto the internet for downloading, then I downloaded them and tested that they worked. They all appeared to be working as they should be, so I went about sending the links out.

On five occasions, with three different zip files I had people come back to me saying that they either couldn’t open the files, or when they did they only had part of the package that was meant to be there. So I tested them again, they all worked fine for me. I scratched my head, umm???

So I re-zipped all three of them, re-uploaded them, and then re-tested them. Again they all worked for me, so I emailed the people apologizing for the error and told them what I had done; i.e. re-zip, re-load & re-test and that they were all fine now.

Do YOU need some inspiration?

The other day I was visiting some blogs, and I read a post by Craig Breeze, (Breezie as he’s known to his friends). He has a fantastic blog with some excellent content, pop over and see; just click his name, above.

One of his posts was about cycling for fitness. I left a comment saying about how I use a hand cycle (being disabled) for fun, exercise and fund raising. I went on to say about some of the events I’ve taken part in for various charities, and for one of my nephews that suffered an acquired brain injury after being hit by a car while crossing the road.

Breezie sent me an email saying how inspired he was by my comment and asked if he could use it for a blog post, which I agreed to. I have since been back and had a read. After reading his post I, again, went to leave a comment. This time however it was so long that I decided to use it as a post myself in the hope of picking peoples spirits up and to show everyone that no matter how big of a challenge you face there is nearly always someone worse off.

Laziness Travels

Laziness Travels……

Before I explain the title of this post I’ll point out that this was inspired by a comment left on my blog, but more on that later…..

I am currently taking part in John Thornhill’s Internet Marketing Masterclass. This is a fantastic course that goes step by step, week by week with an absolute beginner in mind. It is well laid out with video demonstrations of EVERY step we need to take. During these videos John, and on occasion Daniel Sumner, explain everything very clearly while pointing out the importance of each and every step.

John and Daniel both operate the support desk and have set up a forum for all of us Masterclass students to get to know each other and to seek advice or assistance. If ever I have had a concern, and there’s been a few, I’ve gone to the forum, asked advice and have been assisted EVERY time, “thanks lads & ladies”.

We’re all now in the product creation stage and writing our sales pages, which is a crucial stage of the course and somewhat time consuming, however, many of us are still using the forum as and when we can.

Internet Marketing Resource

A friend of mine is starting a new membership site and I thought you may like to have a look at it. http://www.lkldigitalmedia.com

It is set to launch within the next two weeks and he has guaranteed everybody who requests advance notification a massive discount if they decide to join.

He is also letting you have a whole bunch of brand new downloads for free as a thankyou for requesting info. He guarantees to upload brand new ebooks and software packages every week (at least 2 but probably more for the first few months).

The big news is that it’s going to be the cheapest membership site on the internet but still providing all the top products that the big boys offer.

Anyway, take a look and decide for yourself and get the free downloads while you can as the page and the special opening deal will be getting pulled next week.

Once again it’s at http://www.lkldigitalmedia.com

Get over there quickly to secure your place.

Until next time…..
