Thanks for the info on Screen-o-matic, $9.00 is very cheap and the fact that it allows you to edit your creations is worth that price many times over. I’ll have to look into it

I know what you mean about Camtasia, I’m holding off for the same reason

Hi Barry,

Camstudio is great! I used it for a very long time before switching over to Screen-o-matic. For only $9 a year you can upgrade and you have more editing capabilities not available with camstudio.

Camtasia is also fantastic… did the free trial. Lots of bells and whistles for sure. But it’s a hefty price so I thought it was an investment I could hold off on.

Anyway, great job on the video. First time huh? Didn’t seem like it. You definitely have an knack for it. Keep it up.

Hi Steven, I got camstudio free, not Camtasia, I think you have to pay for that one. I don’t know the differences but camstudio works ok and it’s free.
You can download it from the link supplied in the post.

Hi Barry,

I like your blog and some great posts, both the video one here and the ebook one made good reading.

Thanks for your post on my blog, and for pointing out the problems, I think the email issue may have been the server as I believe there was an issue during the week, I hope so anyway as I can’t find a problem at the moment but will keep checking. The issue with the ad encroaching to sidebar 2 cropped up when i first put the ad in, and then seemed to be ok but will keep an eye out for it cropping up again and will revisit the week 5 video to see if there’s something I haven’t done (most likely ha ha).
