Boy oh boy have I been busy lately

Boy oh boy have I been busy lately.

For the last two weeks I’ve had my head down and spent most of my time looking at my keyboard. Mainly because I still can’t type whilst looking at the screen, I know I should but I can’t, and yes it does cause back and neck ache, but needs must I’m afraid.

Why have I been so busy typing? You may ask. Well I’ve recently read an eBook that has inspired me to take immediate action.

That eBook is called Operation eBook and it was written by Paula Brett.

I first came across Paula through my membership of John Thornhill’s “Your Own eBook Business”. Whenever I came across something I wasn’t sure about I would ask for help on the forum.  Quite often it would be Paula that offered me advice and solutions. Because her advice was good and her solutions have always been correct, I took a look at her blog and I subscribed to her newsletter. Even when I have had questions about something from her newsletter she has always replied personally and very quickly.

Paula is also a partner in D9 hosting services, were my blog is hosted. So over the last couple of years I’ve built both trust and admiration for Paula Brett.

I was told of Operation eBook some time ago but I put it to the back of my head for a later date, what a fool I was. Had I of read it when I was first told of it I would have lots of information products on the market today.

I have now read the eBook and for the last two weeks I’ve been busy typing my very 1st information product, and guess what………it’s not as hard as I had convinced myself it was.

You see for the last couple of years I’ve been selling other peoples work through eBay and my eBook website (www.e-books2u.org.uk) and have been helping others shift their products when I should have been writing and shifting my own. I thought that I wouldn’t be able to write my own eBook, and have spent far too long sitting on the fence.

Like I said at the start of this post, after reading the eBook myself I’ve been at my computer typing for the last two weeks and now have the first draft of my very own information product completed. It has honestly only taken me two weeks to complete the first draft. I’m having the day off today and tomorrow I’ll be back on the draft to improve it, which I will keep doing until I’ve completed my very first information product.

This leaves me just one thing to say “Thank you Paula, for all the help and advice that you’ve given me over the years and for the kick up the pants that got me started on creating my OWN product. You really are a star and I thank you from the bottom of my heart x”
