Part 7 The Newbies Guide: Creating Payment Buttons On PayPal

Hello and thanks for visiting my blog.

Welcome to part 7 of ‘The Newbie’s Guide To Editing and Uploading Their 1st Website’ in which I will take you from the point of purchase to the point of uploading the completed website.

As YouTube will only allow a maximum of ten minutes per video I am showing you one task at a time, so this may seem a little slow but please bear in mind that this series is aimed at helping people that have never done any of this type of work before.

This Seventh video shows you how to edit your HTML pages and add payment buttons, via PayPal, so that upon completion of payments your customer is taken directly to the thank you page where they can download the product.

Please watch the video and feel free to leave your comments. When you have watched the video please continue reading this post, as I will provide you with links to the websites mentioned during the video.

Website talked of during the video:

PayPal:

Part 8 of the series will be created and uploaded when I return from hospital.

Part 6 of The Newbies Guide: Creating An Auto Reply Message On Outlook Express

Hello and thanks for visiting my blog.

Welcome to part 6 of ‘The Newbie’s Guide To Editing and Uploading Their 1st Website’ in which I will take you from the point of purchase to the point of uploading the completed website.

As YouTube will only allow a maximum of ten minutes per video I am showing you one task at a time, so this may seem a little slow but please bear in mind that this series is aimed at helping people that have never done any of this type of work before.

This Sixth video shows you how to set up an auto reply message on Outlook Express. So that when a customer makes a purchase and PayPal send you an email to confirm payment, Outlook Exress will recognise the title of the product purchased and automatically send an email with the corresponding download details.

I supplied you with email templates in my last blog post, hopefully you’ve been able to complete that section now. If not I will place the link at the bottom.

Please watch the video and feel free to leave your comments. When you have watched the video please continue reading this post, as I will provide you with links to the websites mentioned during the video.

Part 5 of The Newbies Guide: My Digital Dispatch and Outlook Express

Hello and thanks for visiting my blog.

Welcome to part 5 of ‘The Newbie’s Guide To Editing and Uploading Their 1st Website’ in which I will take you from the point of purchase to the point of uploading the completed website.

As YouTube will only allow a maximum of ten minutes per video I am showing you one task at a time, so this may seem a little slow but please bear in mind that this series is aimed at helping people that have never done any of this type of work before.

This Fifth video gives you an insight to My Digital Dispatch and how easy it is to load the inventory and items for sale. You would need to purchase the software to be able to use it. This is the software that I use (and if you’ve ever made a purchase from me, you will know just how quickly the software delivers my digital products) and I highly recommend it. There’s nothing better than starting work and seeing that all of your digital sales have ALREADY been delivered.

Part 4 of The Newbies Guide To Editing and Uploading Their 1st Website

Hello and thanks for visiting my blog.

Welcome to part 4 of ‘The Newbie’s Guide To Editing and Uploading Their 1st Website’ in which I will take you from the point of purchase to the point of uploading the completed website.

As YouTube will only allow a maximum of ten minutes per video I am showing you one task at a time, so this may seem a little slow but please bear in mind that this series is aimed at helping people that have never done any of this type of work before.

This Fourth video deals with creating a pop3 email account and downloading it to Outlook Express. You will only need to do this if you intend to use Outlook Express for your auto reply. So that when a customer makes a purchase and paypal send you an email notification Outlook Express with automatically reply with an email containing a link to your ‘thank you’ page.

In the video I show you how to create the email address on d9 hosting, however most hosting companies will use the same or similar control panels so you should be able to follow the video in most cases.

Part 3 of The Newbies Guide To Editing and Uploading Their 1st Website

Hello and thanks for visiting my blog.

Welcome to part 3 of ‘The Newbie’s Guide To Editing and Uploading Their 1st Website’ in which I will take you from the point of purchase to the point of uploading the completed website.

As YouTube will only allow a maximum of ten minutes per video I am showing you one task at a time, so this may seem a little slow but please bear in mind that this series is aimed at helping people that have never done any of this type of work before.

This Third video deals with Domain Names and Hosting. I have recommended the two companies that I use for these services, but please feel free to look around for alternatives of your choice. Also; it may be worth your while getting in touch with your Internet Service Provider and asking about free web space as most of them do offer it. However if you’re with Orange, I know that they only offer a basic template for you to fill in, which is no good for what we are doing here.

If you do manage to get some free web space from your ISP your web address is likely to look something like:

Part 2 of The Newbies Guide to Editing and Uploading a Website

Hello and thanks for visiting my blog.

Welcome to part 2 of ‘The Newbie’s Guide To Editing and Uploading Their 1st Website’ in which I intend to take you from the point of purchase to the point of uploading the completed website.

As YouTube will only allow a maximum of ten minutes per video I am showing you one task at a time, so this may seem a little slow but please bear in mind that this series is aimed at helping people that have never done any of this type of work before.

This second video deals with downloading HTML editing software, (in case you don’t already have some on your PC), and editing some of the pages within the package. I also show you how to hyperlink your email address.

During the video I forgot to mention that we will be dealing with payment buttons in a later video, so please do not attempt to add them just yet. Some websites may need payment buttons on a multitude of pages. In this example however they are all on one page, the ordernow.htm page, but like I said that will be covered in a later video.

Part 1 of The Newbies Guide to Editing and Uploading a Website

Hello and thanks for visiting my blog.

In my last blog post I told you about my aims for 2010; to create more products in a brand new niche and to create a video series to show newbie’s exactly what they need to do when they purchase their first website.

I have since had a date through for my operation, 02/02/10, which is my wife’s birthday and the first birthday of this blog. I have been told that I will have to stay in hospital for at least 2 weeks, if all goes well. Which means I may be in hospital for longer if the operation does NOT go well, grrr.

As a result of this I have decided that the brand new niche idea will have to wait until I’m discharged from hospital as I don’t want to be stopping and starting with my research. I think it would be better to complete the challenge in one flow.

So, what about the video series that I’ve spoke of…..

Let me introduce you to:
‘The Newbie’s Guide To Editing and Uploading Their 1st Website’ in which I intend to take you from the point of purchase to the point of uploading the completed website.

Did you achieve all that you set out to in 2009

Hello everyone and thank you for visiting my blog.

I had hoped to get this blog post written the day before Christmas eve but my mum’s health took a turn for the worse.
My regulars readers will know that my mum has been very unwell for the last few months. The hospital had discharged her to a residential home for an interim placement for a few weeks to see if her condition improved, which it did. Then on December 23rd she started having a Transient Ischemic Attack (TIA, Mini-Stroke). The doctor was called and treated her for the condition, but the following day (Christmas eve) she had another TIA so the Paramedics were called in. My mum was readmitted to hospital, where she had a further 7 TIA’s over the Christmas period. She has now been discharged again and has returned to the residential home, for the time being, I hope.

On to the Blog post:

Did you achieve all that you set out to in 2009?
If you did then “Congratulations” are in order and you should give yourself a huge pat on the back.

If you didn’t achieve your goals, what stopped you from doing so?

The software I use to make these videos

Hello everyone and thank you for visiting my blog.

I recently created a series of videos to show people my Brandable eBooks, how to get them and upload the salespage to Turbo Lister. The videos have been quite successful and I’m very pleased with them.

A few of my regular readers asked me about the software and how to get hold of it. So I have created another video to show you exactly where to get the software, FREE of charge, and how I have formatted it for audio and video synchronization.

I would also like to thank Dave Smith of http://dave-smith.org for his help in solving a problem that I had with the software. If you watch the video all is explained there.

Having just watched the video again I noticed that i forgot to mention that once you have downloaded and installed the software you will have a blue square icon on your desktop. Simply double click it to open the software and start making your very own videos.

I would recommend that you start with a short test video first so that you can check your audio and video are in synch. Once they are, you’re away.

Three Videos To Accompany My Brandable eBooks

Hello everyone and thanks for visiting my blog.

A personal update first:
As my regular readers will know I’ve been fairly quiet lately because my mum suffered a bleed to her brain and has been in hospital for the last 10 weeks. Her life is no longer in danger but her mental state is now very concerning. I’m spending as much time with her as possible to try and bring her back to current affairs.

As she is now in our local hospital I’ve got a couple of hours spare each day and am trying to catch up with everything, it’s slow going but the beauty of internet marketing is that if you do what you can when you can you will   progress.

Onto the blog post:
I’ve created a couple of brandable ebooks and have made them available to my subscribers, free of charge of course.

A brandable ebook is an ebook that allows people to brand it with their own details. Some allow websites to be inserted and some allow people to add their ClickBank ID’s. The reason for this is that the ebooks, (once branded) allow you to earn a commission forever more. The two that I’ve recently created allow you to enter your ClickBank ID and earn 50% commission from all sales, generated from your link, of my main product:
Ease The Squeeze With Auctions.
