Can You Help?

Hi, thanks for stopping by.

I’m so excited my head is spinning with ideas, so I thought I’d write this post and ask you for your advice.

As you know I do a fair bit of blog hopping and when I find something of real value I like to pass it on to others that I think will benefit from it. One of the blogs I visit is Dawn Kays Blog and whilst there recently I saw that Dawn was offering to Transcribe an Audio Recording into a text document free of charge for one of the people that left a decent comment on her post. Meaning that people that have interviewed others can turn their recordings into original products with very little effort on their part.

Knowing that Dawn does this for a living from her First Class Transcriptions website I thought this was an excellent opportunity and knowing some people that have carried out interviews I quickly got in touch with them and pointed them in Dawns direction and didn’t give it much more thought.

Journey To Success Part 2

Develop Specific Goals to Attain Your Dreams

Hi, thanks for stopping by.

Following on from Part 1, Passionate Focused Thinking, where I said about feeding your passions, increasing your knowledge, building your enthusiasm and seeing how others have used the same subject that you’re passionate about to develop online ventures.

Please note: If you haven’t read part one please follow the link above and do so. Be sure to read the comments and replies as they can often add a wealth of information to the original post and if you find a comment that you would like to reply to please feel free to do so, just hit the Reply link beneath the comment. The person that left the comment will automatically receive an email containing your reply, allowing them to continue the conversation. Alternatively you can leave a comment of your own ;)

Onto Part 2:

Before we go headlong into this I want you to stop and look around at the things you use on a daily basis. The objects in your home, your car, your computer, the Internet etc. You use these objects every day and probably don’t realise that they all have something in common. Do you know what that is?…..

List Building Is The Backbone To Any Business

Hi everyone, thanks for visiting my Blog.

This week I have another Guest Post for you, and what a post it is, from Craig Sowerby.

Craig does an excellent job of explaining how we know each other so I’ll pass you straight over to him:

I am writing this post for Barry as we have met through a challenge that Jacinta Dean started last year, 100 Blog Comments Challenge. And what a challenge it was. It has brought so many marketers together and friendships have been made via the net even if we have not met each other you seem to learn a lot about people from visiting their blogs.

So as Barry is inviting people to guest post on his blog I have created this post for his readers. All about List Building. So please enjoy!

Now we all come onto the Internet for various reason’s. Put your stamp on the world. Get exposure for your offline business. Make money selling products. Or even just blog for a hobby. But whether your incentives are financial or not. You want an audience and to keep them coming back. So the easiest way to do so is to start to build a list of subscribers.

Hi, Thanks for visiting my blog.

As you can see from the previous 2 blog posts Mandy Allen has been bringing Blog Carnivals, and their benefits, to our attention.
Mandy is now organising 2 Blog Carnivals of her own. One is exclusive to Masterclass students called Journey To Success and the other is the A-Z Challenge, which is open to any blogger that wishes to take part. Simply visit Mandy Allen’s Blog and get the full scoop.

Being a former Masterclass student I thought I’d take part in the Masterclass Carnival so here goes……

Journey to Success Part 1

Passionate, Focused thinking:

As with any journey it starts with a desire, or need, to be somewhere else. My desire was to create an online business and for some time I felt like I was banging my head against the wall and going around in never ending circles. Of course I was passionate about my desire but over time that passion turned to frustration until I joined the Masterclass and had a direction to focus on.

Twitterfeed to Twitter: Share Your Views Please.

Hello and welcome to my blog.

Please share your views on using

Twitterfeed to Twitter

Update: March 2011, please read to the end of post for the update.

I’ve been using Twitter for about 18 months now and set up my Twitter Account with the help of Tweet Dynamite, which is the complete package for anyone wanting to get started on Twitter. I was really unsure of Twitter to start with but with the video guides in Tweet Dynamite it was really easy to set up my Twitter Account and get to grips with all the different programs used to assist my Twitter Campaign.

One part of the package was setting up a Twitterfeed account so as to feed me with automated tweets that went straight to my Twitter account, in any niche I choose. I found this really impressive and at times very helpful. Regular readers will know that I’ve been absent from my blog at times due to health issues and at these times I’ve relied on my Twitterfeed to keep my Twitter Account fresh and active. Even when I’ve been working full time I’ve used Twitterfeed, as well as my own Tweets, to fuel Twitter and have been doing OK with it.

New year = New Plans and New Targets

I was hoping to get this post written at the start of last week but my mum’s health has deteriorated so I’ve been by her side every day. She has now been admitted to hospital again, which has given my the mornings to catch up with some work.

That’s one of the beauties of Internet Marketing, it allows us to take time out when life’s hurdles present themselves.

Onto The Blog Post:

Now that Christmas and the new year festivities are over it’s time to crack on with making plans for what we wish to achieve this year. If you haven’t created a plan yet maybe seeing mine will help you get one started.

Personally I’ve never made any plans for my Internet Marketing and have just done what I knew needed doing, but over the past year or so I’ve come to realise how important it is to have a plan to work from. So between Christmas and new year I sat and got my ideas written out on paper and got them into some sort of order so as to map out my plan for 2011. I then transferred my plan to my new whiteboard, a Christmas gift from my daughter, and placed the whiteboard beside my desk so that it is in my face every day.

If You Are New to eBay Try Newbies Auction Profits, FREE

During the course of the year I have written a few posts regarding eBay and each time I do some of my readers state that they’re yet to get onto eBay although it is on their to do list.

With this in mind I thought that I would bring a free ebook to your attention. The eBook is called Newbies Auction Profits and was written by my online friend John “Ed” Edwards who also wrote Skincare Profits Auction Goldmine. As I said Newbies Auction Profits is totally free of charge and can be downloaded from this post.

I have read the eBook and can tell you that it is 19 pages long and is full of good solid info without all the fluff that many people include to bulk out their products. Ed has included illustrations to make it easy for you to follow his guidance, with examples of everything he tells you.

As it is only 19 pages long I urge you to download it, print it out and read it during the new years holiday. Then when you’re ready to start the new year you’ll be armed with a plan of action for starting your eBay careers.

Newbies We May Be Dummies We Are Not!

We may be

Newbies

but

Dummies

We are NOT!

Don’t you just hate it when you shell out your hard earned cash on the latest “New Thing” only to find that it doesn’t do what it says on tin? Of course you do.

What about if once you’ve purchased it you find that you then need to buy the tools to open the tin, or stir the contents? :(

If it’s an off-line purchase you’d take straight back to the store get your money back, right?

If it’s an on-line purchase of a physical item you’d check it out as soon as it arrives and if it’s not right it gets sent straight back to the seller with a request that they refund your money, yes?

But what about when it comes to buying Information Products or software, you read a cleverly worded salespage that installs desire with loads of screen shots of the sellers earnings and promises to lead you to your dreams and change your life for the better?

Heck it’s only $67 and for a life changing product that’s cheap right?
