Hi all, have I had busy week or what…
After announcing the video creation challenge in my last blog post I’ve been blog hopping, Tweeting and setting up an event on Facebook to help get the word out there, and what a response I’ve had.
I’m really excited about every video that entered. We’ve got lessons and tours from experts, some from 2nd and 3rd timers and some from video virgins that have never created videos before.
oh and watch out for the dark horse, he’s stepped out of the stable and will soon be galloping around the net.
I take my hat off to every one of you that created a video (or two or three in some cases) for this challenge and I have listed them all below in the order that they were submitted to me.
Please bookmark this post as you have some fantastic lessons and demonstrations below and I know you’ll want to watch them all throughout the week
Oh and please use the tools available on each post to help spread the word of their video creations.
So without further ado allow me to introduce…….

Hi all, thanks for stopping by.
I’ve got an idea for a bit of a challenge and want to invite you all to take part….
The challenge is to make a video and post it on your blogs. It can be of anything you feel comfortable doing and if you’ve never created a video then this is your push to do so.
We’re all able to carry out certain tasks on our PC’s so why not record yourself doing one of them?
I’m no Spielberg but I have created a few videos and how I got started was by recording myself setting up an auto reply message on Outlook Express. It’s a simple video, which is displayed lower in the post, and it has been my most popular with over 2,900 views. It was created with free software so all it cost me was my time, so there’s no excuse!
Here’s a few ideas you could start with:
Cloaking affiliate links
Adding an image to a page or blog
Creating a payment button
Creating an Image
Creating an eBook cover
Creating a Hyperlink
Branding an eBook

Hi all, thanks for stopping by….
I’ve just completed the second module of our Learn With Sally coaching and I have to be honest and say that this coaching, although only at week 3, has already highlighted some errors that I have been making online.
The module was Traffic Foundations and setting up accounts on Social Media sites. Now I don’t mind admitting that other than Twitter and more recently Google Plus I haven’t tapped into them at all.
My thinking was that they would be a time magnet and I wouldn’t be able to get anything done in my already busy schedule. So I just left them to those that use them and carried on regardless.
What a foolish mistake that was because nearly all of them can be automated.
We are all aware of Alexa Ranking so let me pass on some info that Sally gave us this week.
Google Plus: The brand new Google social media network, that is Google’s attempt at taking on Facebook, gained 10 million users in just 16 days. Any google site will automatically rank as number 1 so the ranking for Google Plus can be a little misleading but 10 million users in just 16 days tells us all we need to know about its popularity, especially when we bear in mind that it is currently invite only.

Hi all, thanks for visiting my blog.
As many of you know I won a place on Sally Neill’s new coaching program and when I told everyone about the win on my Benefits of Blog Hopping post I said that I would keep my readers informed of my progress etc.
Well last Thursday Sally held our first live webinar, which was fantastic, and during it Sally gave us an in depth introduction to the coaching that she’ll be giving us and detailed 12 of the 13 modules. The 13th being a top secret surprise
The first module, which we start next week, is Blogging Superstar.
If you know Sally you’ll know that she really is a blogging superstar and has lots of knowledge to pass on. She’s already taught me loads of ways to improve my blog so I am really looking forward to getting stuck in.
By the way you don’t have to be on Sally’s coaching program to benefit from her knowledge of blogging, you can get started straight away by reading a couple of her eBooks: Blog Hopping Queen and Newbies Next Chapter which are both excellent reads. By reading theses eBooks I have realised that I have been making a few mistakes in my blogging, which will now be corrected

Moving on, It is extremely important that you visualize the whole of your creation but only focus on one task at a time until that task is completed, only then should you move onto the next one.

Hi all, thanks for stopping by.
I have some fantastic news to tell you all but before I do I want to tell you about a question I received on Twitter a couple of days ago as they’re kind of tied together.
The question was “Hi Barry, I am really curious. How do you get so many people to comment on your blog? Besides the fact that its a super blog.

(Click the image to see full size)
I’ve removed their name and photo as I don’t want to cause them any embarrassment. If you look at the image you’ll see that the person tweeted my post about the product review of Kindle Publishing Made Easy and then 2 hours later asked the question. So were they thinking about the amount of comments I had received for those 2 hours, trying to figure it out?
My answer was “Hi *****, good question. I get so many comments by blog hopping and tweeting every post. Building relationships along the way”
Of course that’s a brief answer as Twitter only allow 140 characters per tweet but the gist of it is correct.

After reading the guest post by Fran Aslam about Mobile SEO I thought I would look into how the majority of people read their eBooks.

Kindle topped the list, which isn’t really a surprise bearing in mind Kindle have downloadable applications to suit almost every need. Whether its for your mobile device, PC or ebook reader Kindle have it covered and with the Kindle eReaders coming down in price all the time they are only going to get more popular.
Having written an eBook and listed it on ClickBank, with plans to write many more, I thought I should find out what is involved in getting myself Kindle Published so as to reach a wider audience for my publications. Bearing in mind that publishing Kindle eBooks is a “set it and forget it” way of selling your products. In other words once you’ve uploaded your eBook your work for that product is complete and you can move onto the next one
Not wanting to wait 3 months while I wrote a new eBook I took a PLR product, that has psd book covers that allow my to change the title of the product, from My PLR Offer and re-worked the product to include links to my blog and my affiliate links etc.
