Great tip Barry, thanks. Sally’s done a great job of that video on making ecovers. I found a few free ones around the place but the full package seems to be a whole lot better than any free ones I have.

Yes Sally has done a fantastic job on the video, i just had to let everyone know about it.
My youngest brother works with Photo Shop all day every day and i’ve been asking for a lesson for months without joy. I learnt so much from Sally in 16 minutes it was amazing.

Hi Bryan, welcome back my friend.
I wish my son had done a photo shop course so as to be able to show me. My brother works with photo shop full time and i’ve asked him for lessons, but he lives 40-50 miles away and time is tight when he gets here.
I have some screen capture software so i’m thinking of recording him at work (on my PC) so that i can re-watch as needed.
I hope that you enjoyed Sally’s video, i thought it was fantastic, hence the post about it.

I’m just going to pop over to Sally’s blog Barry, but before I go can I ask you something? Why didn’t you put an affiliate link for Planet Divinity into your post? If someone wants to buy through an affiliate link, it doesn’t cost any extra, so why not put it in?
Just curious, there may be an issue I’m unaware of.

Sally’s video is an excellent lesson and demonstration. I highly recommend that you grab a coffee and put your feet up for 20 minutes whilst you watch it. It could save you money for ever more.

I can remember when I first attempted creating my first clickbank product – it was about 5 years ago and I was just staring to figure out back then ‘how it all worked’. The product was a script for adobe photoshop that created 3d ebook covers from a flat piece of artwork. Since I was self taught, It was a bit clunky but it worked and I made clickbank sales from it. Since then I found a product created by someone else called ecovercreator – I must admit it was a better product than my script because the software didnt need adobe photoshop to work – I still use it today for ebook covers.

I know when people first start out they may find Photoshop expensive so any tips that save them money are very welcome. The fact that ecovercreator doesn’t need Photoshop to work makes it very attractive, and the fact that you’ve used it for so long gives it a great reference as well John.

I have used a free ecover creator in the past but the software that Sally shows us in her video creates realy professional looking covers.
Just goes to show, free is not always the best option if you want good results.

I know exactly what you mean about some of the free cover creators, i’ve tried some of them and never again will i waste my time.
The software and scripts that Sally uses are much better and offer a professional finish. If you haven’t bought the scripts David then I recommend that that you purchase the sample pack of 3 at $3.95 which will give you 2 eBook covers and a CD case with disc displayed.
