No need for apologies my friend, especailly as you’ve been suffering from a migraine. I’ve only ever had one migraine myself, it lasted a week and I was convinced I had a tumor. It felt as if my head wanted to explode.

I’m really pleased that you were impressed by my subscriber gifts. I like to write my eBooks in a way that everyone can understand them and follow along with ease.

I’ve had those eBooks were we need to eat a dictionary to get through the introduction and guess what……I’ve never made it to the end and understood the content.

When it comes to cloaking Julie, I’d create the folder on your PC and load your cloaked links (pages) straight to that folder and upload it all at once.

This post was written some time ago so it’s a good idea to have a clear out of your own every now and then, cupboards included

We should certainly cloak our affiliate links Julie. It helps them avoid being slapped or stolen (as we disguise them).

Another beauty of cloaking them is that if the product creator ever changes the pages, products or payment services we simply have to update the cloaked page in our recommended folders.

By doing it this way links placed in products can always be updated with ease so they’re always valid links.

Thanks for letting us know. As you say, I too think it’s a good idea to do a clean out now and then, and if Twitter is going to do it, it does save a little job there. (wish they could do a clean out in my cupboards as well).

I did notice somewhere where an affiliate link was not accepted, could be the reason why. Awhile ago I did looked at your video, but, shame on me, I have not yet clocked my links. Now is the time, since Google are taking abit of a dislike to them.

Hi John, the folder you’re looking for is called CLOAKURL, if you click start > search > files & folders and type in CLOAKURL it should find it ok. If not send me an email John and i’ll send the link again my friend.

I wondered how long it would take Google to bring up an issue on uncloaked affiliate links, but at least it makes you protect your own, and i will bear the twitter issue in mind for when i start using it!

Yep, Twitter follows strict guidelines … and I have lost a couple of followers as well. Most often though I go through new followers one by one. It’s a lot of work … perhaps one day I’ll find a software that will do this for me
